The Papua New Guinea Chamber of Mines and Petroleum is a non-profit peak industry organisation which exists to promote and advance the growth and prosperity of the mining and petroleum industry in PNG, consistent with national interest.
The Chamber also seeks to create the best possible environment in the public and private sectors for the industry to develop and expand, by being the primary source of information for the mining and petroleum industry and by representing the industry’s best interest to the government and nation, in those areas which members agree are best handled on a cooperative basis.
The administrative arm of the organisation is run by the Secretariat, which is headed by an Executive Director.
We are a non-profit, peak industry association that represents the interests of the mining and petroleum industry and associated industries in Papua New Guinea.
